HFO's
HFOs are the fourth generation of synthetic refrigerants, with a low GWP (Global Warming Potential). They therefore offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs.

HFO stands for hydrofluoro-olefins. Like HFCs, HFOs are composed of hydrogen, fluorine and carbon atoms. The key difference is that HFOs contain at least one carbon double bond, causing them to break down more quickly in the atmosphere.
