Coatings produced by thermal spraying offer the ideal opportunity to improve the surface design of components without negatively affecting their properties. This is not just a matter of wear or corrosion protection. Coatings can influence the coefficient of friction, improve the electrical properties at the surface or insulate perfectly. They can increase or decrease heat conduction to name a few. Damage on the surface can be repaired and parts with manufacturing defects can even be restored to the correct dimensions. In most cases, surfaces produced in this way can be further treated without any problems.

LINSPRAY® is Linde's offering for the thermal spray market. We provide supply concepts for safe installation and handling of technical gases for all different thermal spray systems such as flame, arc, plasma or laser. We also offer the ideal solution for cooling with CO2 for ideal temperature management during coating. In addition, we have an extensive network through our involvement with associations such as the Gemeinschaft Thermisches Spritzen e.V. and committees of the technology, which can advise you on the optimal solution to meet your productivity, quality and cost requirements.
